Project summary
“Shar” is a unique cafe, winner of the “Golden Capital” architectural competition, located on Kamenskaya Street next to the Globe Theater in Novosibirsk. It got its name because of the unique shape of the building, made in the form of a glass sphere (Shar stands for sphere in Russian).
Safety tempered glass of triangular glazed units is used for cladding. The building has four above-ground levels and one underground. The structure is self-supporting, which allows you to do without additional bulky supports. Thanks to this, the external appearance of the building looks light and elegant.
